The Family visit Milan

Mum and Katie came to visit for a few days, they stayed in a hotel just down the road so it was easy to just pop down and see them. so after work on the thursday I went to their hotel and met up with them for a bit, but didnt stay long as I had work the next day. After work on the friday I met them outside duomo and we went for lunch, then went home, got ready to go out again. Took them to Navigli (canals) and we had a really nice dinner together.
Saturday we went to the duomo, inside and to the roof. Ive been waiting for them to come before I did it too, so it was new for me. Ahhh its so pretty! So hot when we got to the top of the duomo too..

p.s glad we caught the elevator up there. lol.

We caught the tram to San Siro too, its the weirdest football stadium ive ever seen, like a big industrial building. but anyway...

in the night we went to center to have a meal and then went and took a long walk around castello and parc sempione.

Glad they came to visit, I had a really nice time with them =)

Woah, its been tiiiiime since i last wrote in this..

So much has happened in so little time, that im going to write the blogs seperately..

Wednesday 3rd
Went to Cream bar on Corso Sempione. With Ekaterina, Ricardo, Christina, Begga and Rob. It was nice. really chilled and relaxed, I like cream bar.

The Nano was there.. how embarressing haha (again, private)

Ekaterina and I decided to walk all the way home, and as we did kept posing for pictures, so like i night time tourist trip. all the pictures are just funny. didnt get in till gone 3, had to be up for work at 7:30.. joy.

yeah.. so

I, quite frankly.. do not know how people do the ol 9-5 every day, I almost fall asleep on the metro every single night after work.. (im 10 - 6) so i leave the house at 9, and get back at 7. its crazy crazy. but good. so, as you know about my article, i also wrote a little bit on a vintage week/fair thats happening soon, which i get press pass too. and to another fair this up and coming weekend which is normally just for traders, like 70 odd thousand traders go, but i get press pass.

Friday, I went to Ricci club with the usual ceeeeerew! and ekaterina and I mingled and made connections really. going to a party soon to meet with a lady from "victim" magazine.
Last night (saturday) I went to a VIP dinner in club karma, the place was soooo nice, (pics coming soon) anyway, champagne, 4 courses.. free flowing wine.. then free drinks on the table we were at.. what. a. good. night.
In a league of its own.. it really was!

Today, i wondered around fashion district again, because i have to put another article together. then another article on the fair on friday. and then mi mamma a la sorella visit thursday - sunday.. so this weekend i will be doing touristy things, duomo, castello, going to see the last supper. which you have to book weeks in advance, but like I said.. i gots the connections.

hehe.

First few days at work..

Well... you know everyones first day at work goes bad... mine could not have gone better unless i met karl lagerfeld himself. I was sent to the most elite design school in Milan and managed to get myself onto the press list for them, so when they have fashion shows with the hottest new designers then i can go along and get to see everything first.. then my second job was to walk around the fashion district and try to, well try to get information from all the designer stores.. like okay.. woo
the second day, i had a meeting with some one from Ralph Lauren and the consolant.. or something, british embassy and i have to go back in a week or two and have a more formal proper meeting with them.. gona squeeze everything I can out of the lady, because she has connectionsssssssss... then i went to more showrooms and got more information etc, came back to the office and reasearched my article..
Today.. (day 3 of work) i wrote my article... haha, and its gonna be front page.. YEAH BOIIII AVE IT!!!!!
short but very very very sweet.. as im in work and im clearly skiving to write this. hahaha.
