yeah.. so

I, quite frankly.. do not know how people do the ol 9-5 every day, I almost fall asleep on the metro every single night after work.. (im 10 - 6) so i leave the house at 9, and get back at 7. its crazy crazy. but good. so, as you know about my article, i also wrote a little bit on a vintage week/fair thats happening soon, which i get press pass too. and to another fair this up and coming weekend which is normally just for traders, like 70 odd thousand traders go, but i get press pass.

Friday, I went to Ricci club with the usual ceeeeerew! and ekaterina and I mingled and made connections really. going to a party soon to meet with a lady from "victim" magazine.
Last night (saturday) I went to a VIP dinner in club karma, the place was soooo nice, (pics coming soon) anyway, champagne, 4 courses.. free flowing wine.. then free drinks on the table we were at.. what. a. good. night.
In a league of its own.. it really was!

Today, i wondered around fashion district again, because i have to put another article together. then another article on the fair on friday. and then mi mamma a la sorella visit thursday - sunday.. so this weekend i will be doing touristy things, duomo, castello, going to see the last supper. which you have to book weeks in advance, but like I said.. i gots the connections.

First few days at work..

Well... you know everyones first day at work goes bad... mine could not have gone better unless i met karl lagerfeld himself. I was sent to the most elite design school in Milan and managed to get myself onto the press list for them, so when they have fashion shows with the hottest new designers then i can go along and get to see everything first.. then my second job was to walk around the fashion district and try to, well try to get information from all the designer stores.. like okay.. woo
the second day, i had a meeting with some one from Ralph Lauren and the consolant.. or something, british embassy and i have to go back in a week or two and have a more formal proper meeting with them.. gona squeeze everything I can out of the lady, because she has connectionsssssssss... then i went to more showrooms and got more information etc, came back to the office and reasearched my article..
Today.. (day 3 of work) i wrote my article... haha, and its gonna be front page.. YEAH BOIIII AVE IT!!!!!
short but very very very sweet.. as im in work and im clearly skiving to write this. hahaha.

Last week of school....

Hope you are all good.. I get bored of writing on this thing.. cant put all the goings on in it as mum and dad read it... jokes jokes jokes.
Starting to forget what i did actually did last weekend... went to the pool near navigli on saturday with begga, trying to get an amazing tan for my return to the land of cloud and drizzle. then we had our usual cafe shakeratos and came home... i had a test in school today (wednesday) to see if we can get onto level two, but it doesnt make a difference to me, as this is my last week in school because i start WORK on monday. a wooopa

Supposed to be going to the designer store (discount) on saturday, but i think ill just go to the pool again, and go to space (name of the DDstore) when my mother and sister visit.. then it can all go on her credit card. haha..

Hopefully, Jossi ,Pam and Manda will visit like they said they might too..

I also want to buy a little bicycle.. so i can look all chic riding around the city haha.. one similar to Beggas but i want to buy it not fish it out of the river!!

Going to a party tonight, and tomorrow night im going to apertivio (happy hour which lasts hours and hours) then Friday I have to party as its my last day in school.. so the next few days look promising.. the only question left is:

Had a lovely weekend at the beach, we went to genova eeeeeeearly saturday and came back sunday. so im all tanned and refreshed.. was just what i needed to get rid of my city headache. lol.
my italian is improving too, actually im fluent when ive had a few mojitos haha.
it was my teachers birthday today so we got her a little cake and all sang happy birthday in italian, then she asked how we all sing it.. and the tune to happy birthday is the same world wide, quite funny actually.. so i did the welsh version awooopa. haha.

dunno what im doing tonight, because milan is stupid and everything is shut in august.. like only ristorantes and shops are open, but most places are shut because every milanese person goes abroad.. its ridiculous. so come september its a party again. and on the 15th (friday) there is no school, beacause its a national holiday, so a nice 3 day weekend, will probably go to the beach again, or florence, or lake como.. or maybe nice.. martina and some people went to nice, me and others went to genova.. and the rest went to rimini...

I have a new phone!! and a new number, which ill give to you individually.. still very confused/annoyed about the fact its gone, as this has never happened to me before.
im about to go into the center and do some shopping and un'cafe shakerato (iced coffee) (yum) hehe...

and a few of us are going to beach near genova è sabato (on saturday) I was supposed to be going to neice tomorrow, i think ive spelt that wrong.. but in france, but there were not enough hostels so im going to the beach instead. so much to do in this hot weather. eh eh eh? what about you guys? haha
saying that, it rained last night, but it was refreshing.. i have headaches with this damn heat.

stupido milano

developments on the phone front... its definately stolen/gone.. but ive got a new one now... and it took me like an hour to get served in this shop, then they werre like "you need your passport" so i showed them the photocopy "no you need your original" so i had to go alllllllllllllllllllll the way home to get it then allllllllll the way back to wait like another half hour to be served. stupid stupid stupid stupid shop. ill give you all the number when i actually open the box.
i need to go to the police station to report my stolen phone but in stupid milan you need to report a crime without 24 and its been longer than that, so i now have to say it was stolen yesterday.. when i do actually find a police station..

i need some retail therapy... can the other people who also know about this discount designer outlet store please inform me of the address because i need to cheer up.

im still ill, still got a stupid headache. so everything is just stupid at the moment.

im going to the beach on the weekend, hopefully ill be better by then, and the people who live at the beach are not as retarded as milanese people.

okay so yesterday and today have not been the best of days!! i was ill yesterday but my friends draged me out and when i was out,my phone got stolen, its even more frustrating because i shouldnt of even have beeeeen there. and i feel rough today too.. so no phone, no health, no discounted outlet of prada etc (as i havnt found it yet) so im not in the best of moods today, im just gona stay in and go to sleep early tonight as now i dont have a phone to wake me up in the mornings, hopefully an early night will mean a natural early rise.. THAT or i just have to stay awake forever.

Sorry I havnt kept up to date with this as much as i would of liked, but im busy busy busy ya know. shopping, drinking coffee... and of course school haha.
went out every night last week, was fun - expensive but fun. so i slept all weekend pretty much. thats the jist of last week anyway.
i got the internship with the newspaper, which im not 100% happy thats its a newspaper and not a magazine but im allowed to write/report for them, so i will be a published journalist.. and that im allowed to report on milan fashion week and any events that my boss gets invited too but doesnt go to, then im allowed to go. and she said that she never ever replies to them, so i can go to alot at this rate. make lots of connections haha.
so, very quick post.. but at least people like Amy wont be wasting their times by trying to read what im up to.
